Almost over

Blessings!

Well, my time in Peru is coming to an end this Thursday evening when I will return to U.S. I have learned a lot and I hope I matured more in my relationship with God. God loves win-win situations and that is exactly what happened here. Our Peruvian bro. and sis. have been blessed and I was blessed.

Indeed it came to pass. What´s next...we´ll see. That too will come to pass.

When God guides things start moving

Many blessings from sunny Lima!

A little over two weeks ago I was invited to teach about praise & worship at a church here in Lima. Now, I realize that out Father and God has a really healthy sense of humor for I was to teach the praise & worship team of this church. So, I started praying and praying for a message for this team/church (normally the entire church is invited or at least the leaders of the church). I desired to go and give what God knew the church needed and not a Ramona message. Sure enough, the night before I was to go teach, the Holy Spirit tagged my heart and said ¨relationship.¨ That was the moment I knew the church needs to hear this message. When the Spirit leads not only that the mesage is clear, but the Spirit moves greatly.

One major thing I have realized was that this church longed for God´s presence, longed to be touched by the Spirit and I believe this is one avenue for the Spirit to move and change lives. That day the deparment leaders of the church were fasting and seeking God´s face for what He desired for the church. It was their desire that cause the Spirit to move.

What I´ve learned that day was this ¨One can only praise & worship the Father based on how much one knows the Father.¨ How intimate is your relationship with the Father?

God can and will do great thing for and through us if we are willing to seek Him first. Matthew 6:33.

I am expecting a miracle in my life!

Victory International/Tommy Tenney

Greetings!!!!

I just want to state that God is good to Ramona!!!!!! A few minutes ago I found out that I will teach in two other Victory International Bible Institute locations! So far my schedule looks really crowded, but praise God he has equiped me for this; I actually came here to help as much as I can and it is happening. As of now I teach on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for the next two months. Please keep me in your prayers! I need a lot of wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit.

This past Monday I was blessed to hear Tommy Tenney speak at a church here in Lima. The message was really impacting and filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. He spoke about the importance of unity in the body of Christ and that we are the only once, as a church, that can answer the prayer Jesus prayed in John 17. At the end of the service we washed each others feet (we cleaned each others shoes). Serving one another is what the Lord desires to see happening in our lives! So lets serve one another in love keeping in mind that this is also God´s desire and that the impact it has in the Kingdom and in our lives is great! Jesus served while He was on earth and continues to do so! We need to imitate Him.

Lima 2009

Blessings!

It has been almost 3 weeks now since I last wrote. God is really good to me.

There are 3 major areas of work I do here in Lima, Peru. I work with a group of teenagers in a city outside of Lima called Pachacutec, teach 2 classes at Victory International and help the youth leaders here at Comunidad de Fe with what is needed. Those leaders (which are from among the youth of this church) need some training in what it means to be a leader and how to lead and that starts tonight. They don´t know that yet :).

My mornings are totally free of schedule and that gives me the opportunity to spend time in prayer seeking direction from the Lord for what I was asked to do and other. I also pray for some of my sisters here that are in need of breakthrough in their lives. One of my friends, Nancy, works really hard but is not payed well for what she does. So, I started praying for her and asked to Lord to give her a raise of 300 soles (Peruvian currency). That is $100. So far she only received 100 soles raise, but I will continue praying for the remaining amount.

Then, in Pachacutec, I met a young man named Alexander. He is only 8 years old, but he is very sick. His parents took him to the hospital, but the doctors told them they don´t know what is going on, so they sent Alexander home. His ride side of the face is disproportionate. He cannot see and can barelly eat. He´s been in this state since November of last year. The group that was with me and I started praying for his healing. I have declared him healed in the Name of Jesus. I will continue to pray for Alexander until God completely heals him. I wanted to visit with him last Saturday, but he was not home. I pray that this coming Saturday I will get to see him and speak healing into him.

Please continue to pray for me! I need a lot of wisdom! For instance, I teach in Castellan, which is a Spanish dialect and my 3rd language. Sometimes I cannot remember certain words or cannot express very well what I desire to say and it can be frustrating.

On the 31st of July I was invited to teach Divine Prosperity to a church in El Agustino. I need the Holy Spirit to give an outline of Divine Prosperity. I was given only 2 hours to teach and the material is huge! Please pray!

Until next time,
Ramona

Lima 2009

Well...it's coming to pass July 1st!!! I am really excited and looking forward to what the Lord will do through me in Lima, Peru. I am also happy to see my friends there (have been to Lima for the first time in 2006). God is so good and always on time, His time! When God guides, He provides!
"There may be another Homer, there may be another Virgil, there may e another Dante, there may be another Milton, but there will never be another Jesus. Whatever surprises there may be in store for the world, Jesus will never be surpassed. He is the goal of all goodness, the summit of all thought, the crown of all character and the perfection of all beauty. He is the incarnation of all tenderness, the focalization of force, the manifestation of might, the personification of power, the concentration of character, the materialization of thought, and the living illustration of all truth. He is the prophecy of man’s possibility."

"We behold Him, and in Him we see the realization of all human expectation: a leader greater than Moses, a priest greater than Aaron, a king greater than David, a commander greater then Joshua, a philosopher greater than Solomon and a prophet greater than Elijah. He walks like a man. He talks like God. His words are oracles, His acts miracles. The crown of divinity rests on His brow. The scepter of universal dominion clings to His hand, the eternities flash in His eyes. Eternal rectitude is written in His face; the smile of Jehovah transforms His countenance."

"He is the express image of His father. Children cluster at his feet. Womanhood instinctively places the crown of purity on His brow. The winds obey Him. A glance from His eye and the crystal waters blush to amber wine. The dead forget themselves and live. The lame leap for joy. Ears which never heard thirst for the very sound of His voice and sightless eyes deny their past and open their drooping lids to the beauty of His presence. Pain, palsied at His touch, vanishes."

"The name of Jesus stands alone. God has given Him a name which is above every name. No creed can contain Him, no catechism can expound Him, flesh of our flesh, very God of our very God. To be a Christian is to live in Christ. Unto Him be glory, dominion and power for ever and ever. Amen."
